I started working on my cadence yesterday. I measured objectively with the comp. I was maintaining in the low to high 80's Over 10 mile ride. I tried to keep it above 90, but life got a bit bouncy for my taste. I've noticed that cadence can get a bit tough to maintain on bad terrain. Even though i've just started to work on it again I will say don't become a slave to the computer. Riding should be enjoyed.
If you're getting bouncy, you're not spinning. More weight on the butt, pull up on the upstroke, across the top, down, and across the bottom. Energy in throughout the circle.
