Bingo! Lance should've known by now that when a tester shows up -- especially a French tester -- that he must do exactly what that person tells him to do. Any deviation from instructions could be construed and/or distorted in exactly the way it's being done right now.

He f'ed up and now he's going to pay for it -- the French are going to throw everything they can at him to keep him out of the TdF (which probably was their plan all along). The only person he has to blame is himself -- and maybe Johan for not making him stay put while they sorted out the tester's creds.
