noteon - Thanks for the picture! I'm from Yonkers and usually look forward to early blooming for Easter. I won't be coming down this weekend so it's nice to see that path along the West Side Highway? We have some cherry tress up here too - along the Charles River by Harvard U. I don't think we're blooming yet The trees outside my office barely have tiny buds. I got a bird feeder that has not been visited once - I'm hoping some tree cover will bring the birds.

Today's commute was very nice. Rode my old steel bike and it was very efficient. Chilly but sunny. Traffic was very light probably due to the holiday weekend. I'm experimenting with black socks ... just thought I'd share that.
