Just got back from a ride after taking 9 days off. I had some kind of virus thing and I just didn't feel good at all. This morning on my commute into work (I still commuted everyday) I felt pretty good, so I thought that I might go "sit in" on the local hammerfest. My plan was to surf the back of the ride for the first half and then take the shortcut home. How I rode the "shortcut" would depend on how I felt. I guess that I felt "OK" because I rode in at an "SST" type of pace (for me around 22 to 23 mph).

Damn, it feel GOOD to be riding again.
