Bikes: 1967 Paramount; 1982-ish Ron Cooper; 1978 Eisentraut "A"; two mid-1960s Cinelli Speciale Corsas; and others in various stages of non-rideability.

I have some wool tights, c. 1984, that I still use on cold days (with suspenders). They are chamois-less, so I wear bibs under them.

I generally use a combination of Kucharik (plain) and Vintage Velos (retro team) wool jeresys that I have accumulated over the past 10 years - I layer up or down depending on the weather. On most days, I much prefer them to anything else. Merino wool jerseys feel great. They certainly stink a whole lot less than modern jerseys.

But I am decidedly new-school when it comes to what goes next to my naughty bits - well-made lycra bibs, to my way of thinking, rank with clipless pedals and shoes as the new-fangled equipment I would absolutely refuse to give up.
