And there is the problem with tattooing today

your tattoo is going to fade there is no 2 ways about it. You did not get a tattoo in the "big, bold, made to hold" tradition. The pigment used in the color is going to diffuse through your skin you are not going to avoid it.

you can do what you like, but to me it seems silly to be prissy about something that was never meant to be prissy in the first place.

I think it took me about 10+hrs of being tattooed and seeking out tattooists rather than tattoo artists to figure this out.
