In no way I have I taken anything away from Lance with my statement I'm only saying how the French see him. He is a very machine like person who we find to in your face for our taste not saying he is not a great rider but his way of being rubs the wrong way. As to my age I'm 55 and was living in France in 1986 so you have only shown what I said to be true that Americans would not understand why Lance is not liked.
