The thing that is maddening, is that the click always happens at the exact same moment. Exactly with every wheel rotation with two sits of totally different kinds of wheels. I guess the reason I didn't consider the BB is that it is just as noisey with no pedaling. Do you think that there is still a possibility that the BB could do that even though it is not moving? Headset was tigtened, pedals are not moving, skewers were changed with the wheels, saddle wouldn't make a symetrical just sitting on it with no body or leg motions - probably same with seatpost. As an aside, it's a carbon frame (Specialized Roubaix).
I have one ex pro racer and current bicycle mechanic ride it, and he couldn't figure it out, and today I had a very expereinced pro triathlete ride it and he is totally snowed as am I.
