thanks to everyone.
There was a front badge/decal, but it didn't come with it.
So I see that it could be a carlton or raleigh..?

And no there is no crack in the frame. It's just rust/dirt, didn't clean the bike yet.
I went to the carlton website and being new to serial number reading/s, etc. it was "chinese". But with the "p" maybe it's a 1974, but then again someone suggested it's more a 60's bike, maybe early 70's......
So I go with a Raleigh/Carlton combination......unless someone has a more precise guess.
