Single Pivot 105 calipers not striking rim at same time.
I have a set of sheldon brown's "greatest single pivot calipers ever made",
They are late 80's Shimano 105 paired to SLR levers.
I have it centered, no probs there, however, the caliper arm that the cable is attached to seems to travel at a 1/3rd the rate as the non attached caliper arm.
can this be resolved? i spent 5 hrs mounting/greasing/cleaning/centering/disassembling/regreasing/oiling/reassembing/mounting/centering/etc etc etc
before i loose any more hair???
