Bikes: 200x Coppi w DuraAce 9, 82 Schwinn Voyager 11.2, 2004 DeBernardi Track, 83 Centurion Elite RS, and some others.

To clarify the earlier posts, the early Schwinn Supersports use a .833 diameter stem. (Schwinn took their lifetime frame guarantee seriously and made the fork steerer thicker.) There are damn few stems available in this size, but a fork swap to a normal steerer makes standard stems fit. I'll admit to doing the same thing to a SS of my own, though not the Voyageur 11.8.
