Today was my first commute on my lowracer http://www.flickr.com/photos/watson_house/3434741487/ . The ride was nice, a little wet but enjoyable. My new bike has a Rohloff hub and it is a joy to not really have to plan my shifting around stop signs, hills or anything at all. If I need a different gear I shift just in time and not before.
