Weave alignment, thickness of the cloth and cost are the factors involved with fabricating a CF frame. Sorry to bring this back up, but this goes right to the heart of the matter when discussing more higher priced CF frames vs. generic. The specific materials used determine it's cost, ride quality and durability. At least for high end name brand frames this is true.
