I have the EC 70 handlebars and seatpost and can tell you they are the best upgrrdes i have made to my bike yet for long ride comfort. The seatpost was upgraded out of necessity as the bontrager pos on the bike kept coming out of adjustment. The handlebars are the best investment you will make as far a long ride comfort as they are the main point of contact with the bike. The carbon bars eliminated road buzz and vibration and the ergo styling is much easier on the hands.
As far as the forks, I would defer to another poster but that seems like it might be overkill on an older bike.
Beautiful! Well the fork would be transferable to another frame should I ever build up another. I would get the EC70 SL fork but it's not available, and I don't think they have it in a 1" diameter.
