I figure I'm getting a low end but serviceable aluminum frame and that's fine with me.

The price is right, but I still feel a bit of hesitation on the whole mail order thing. Every other bike I've owned came from a shop. I just can't get past the idea of buying a bike without riding it first. That's the only thing that stops me from pulling the trigger on a BD bike.

Getting some opinions from BD customers from threads like this is helpful, but the response here is mixed to say the least!
