So, as regards the BB and crank, it must withstand torque more than it does rider weight. Sensitive instruments on the stoker's BB could more easily tell how much power and torque the captain generated than how much he
weighed.
As regards the Campy Record aluminum crank and BB's ability to withstand power and torque, the crankset that has withstood the
1600 watts of sprinter
