it's what i'm using to drive the front shifter on two of my mtbs, with sram x.9 twist shifters for the rear. rocking combo. light, durable, never had any issue with mis-shifts.

i've got a spare setup of this in the parts bin. used x-5 shifters on my newest build to see how i like them instead - if they stuck, the thumby front and x.9 twist shifter rear combo will replace it.
