dude, just read the friggin' book for crying out loud. How can you argue about whats in the book IF all you have read are a couple of pages?
And here, let me add this to the mix. The meaning of the word roadie also has a transient quality that comes from the context of its use. Someone refered to as a rodie here would be a Fred on the racing sub forum, or perhaps even a Wanker. There is no real line in the sand for what a rodie is or is not, its more of a feel kind of thing. You may think of yourself as a rodie, while other may say you are a fred. There really is no hard or fast rule about it, its more of a gray area demarkation. In some cases its a lot like high school, if you gotta ask if you are a rodie then you probably arent.
But then the inverse is not true either, because if a true rodie were to ask; am I a rodie? Even the answer does not change the truth of his being. Hope that help's. Now I gotta go lay down my head hurts.
