I had a Shimano 600 (double) clamp-on to work. I had to rotate it a bit, something you unfortunately can't do with a b-o. Recent FSA ones have a flat outer cage but only make doubles. It would work on a half-step+granny on the TA. Shimano makes b-o triples, outer cage seems pretty flat!
