Bikes: Daniel Girard, Specialized Stumpjumper M2, Basso TT bike

That's essentially the route I used to take on rides from Palo Alto to Mt. Tam....the trails past the reservoir, though I'd end up cutting over to Great Highway once up to San Francisco....

I'd second that plan.
