The rear triangle is all CNC'd. Here's a closer pic. The cranks are an original pair of Sycros Revolution from 1996, before the company was sold a few times. 4130 cro-mo, pretty light and stiff as hell, only drawback is trying to find a decent BB for it, they are square taper and require a 118 mm spindle. I did manage to find a NOS XT 122mm BB for it when I put the bike together. It used to be on my Manitou HT.
Red wouldn't have been my first choice, but it was the only color Tomac offered and I figured the Taos was the closest I could get to a new Manitou frame since Bradbury designed this one too.
When I got it though, I did kinda change my mind, the red with silver looks great, along with all the CNC work.
