I don't have any rain gear per-se. Any recommendations on that?[/QUOTE]

We had 12 people riding that route last week, doing about 35-40 miles/day and shuttling cars each day with the camping gear, etc. Had a lot of cold and rain. We motel'd it 2 nights and ended up dropping the last day from Marthasville to St. Charles because of the weather.

The trail was in good shape. Not too many soft areas, but some stretches where the amount of loose gravel was annoying.

For the rain, cold and headwind, I wore booties on my feet; windproof tights and when needed an older pair of Marmot rainpants; an REI rainjacket w/ pit zips; windproof gloves until they started to get wet and then rain mittens by Hind over them; a motel shower cap over my helmet (can't begin to tell you what a difference that made).

Hope you are having a great trip as I write this.
