Shops don't make much money off of bike sales. Most of their money comes from service, with some from accessories. You'll have a better chance trying to get discounted accessories or a service plan than haggling the price of the bike itself.
Very true, I have seen people come in and try to haggle in 2 shops I deal with. They normally get laughed at. Its a new bike not a car.
