They definitely knew it was in a crash, I mean they weren't trying to pass it off, they were clear it was a Cannondale demo bike. When I called the sales person was extremely apologetic and said he should have checked the scratch better. I'm just really into this frame now and I'm hoping I can find one. They said they will search their other shops and other shops to see if anyone has one they'd like to unload and they could try and pass the deal on to me.
