$600? Did you look at the prices of the "bicycling ensembles" on the fashion plates on display in the NYT slideshow? The jacket alone was priced at over $1000 on six of the eight "bicyclists."

Even the cheapskate with the $370 jacket-vest combo is wearing a $150 tie on a $250 shirt. Don't forget his $394 pants and $350 sneakers. And how 'bout that $235 hat?
