Lose the contacts, get some prescription sunglasses. You want frames and lenses with a lot of wrap, i.e. the frames and lenses curve to fit very close to your face. I get nice frames and dark single vision lenses for less than $100 at my local Costco or about the cost of some trendy plastic frame sunglasses.
