Bikes: IRO Mark V, Karate Monkey half fat, Trek 620 IGH, Cannondale 26/24 MTB, Amp Research B3, and more.

I have seen and used some very nice roller-bearing headsets through the years. It is worth getting your hands on an old Stronglight HS, for example.

On the other hand, a decent but cheap ball bearing HS will serve you just fine.
