Geordi-sure aesthetics are important to bikes, but they have nothing to do w/ the aesthetics of stupid subcultures like emo, goth, punk, w/e. Also, saying something is "played out" only matters if you are comparing your bikes to other bikes. A pretty bike is a pretty bike is a pretty bike no matter how many people have a similar one

what is "pretty" is in the eyes of the beholder. some people will absolutely love and drool all over your bike. the rest of us think it's an emo ghostbike ridden by someone of the myspace generation that craves shallow attention from strangers.
