Its a long and exspensive story! Jay got his Peace 9er from our favorite LBS and I went in to get a bike. Wife agreed on a new bike because I was sticking to WW and working out regularly. I wanted more of a bike to ride on the road since we don't have allot of MTN trails close. I had a decent $500 bike picked out then Jay e-mails me a $750 bike that was what I wanted. When I got to the LBS, the $750 bike was gone. I didn't want to get a "pure" MTN bike, so I looked at the FRC2 from Giant (now at $900) and ALLOT of ther bikes. Two hours later and a check for $1050 (for a dfferent seat, tires, pedals and "gear") I ride out on my OCR2!
Got to say, I never had one second of buyers regret!
I still have my old Hard Rock for trails....but still looking also! I think a SS Peace 9er in going to join my stable next year, if they get a decent paint job! Maybe red, white, and blue?
HIJACKING HAS CEASED!
About the OP, it really sums up what riding should be about.
