I'm thinking of upgrading my seatpost bearings to ceramic. I hear that's good for at least 100 watts over a 25k time trial.

Seriously though, ceramic bearings (bottom bracket and wheel) and a new wheelset certainly are upgrades worth considering. That's a bike I'd consider worth keeping and modifying.

If you get another bike, consider adding capability. A mountain bike, a cyclocross bike, a TT bike... something that adds another element to the quiver.
