Spring has sprung on the North Coast.



Ain't it grand?



It was supposed to rain all day today with some thunderstorms mixed in. The weather people were all wet so I was able to get in 35 miles without getting wet. It was in the low 50's with lovely sunshine all day long.

The only downside was that this is Spring Recess for our local schools and the kids are all over the streets. One guy of about 13 years old pulled right in front of me on his "Toy store Mt. Bike". I think I had both wheels locked up and my sneakers was-a-draggin' but I managed to stop with my front 20" wheel about two inches from his crank. I gave him a stern warning about looking where he was going and left it at that. No sense ruining his day any more than it was at that point...even his buddies were chastizing his poor judgement.

Otherwise it was a great ride.
