Finally done!

In March I started getting the itch to buy a new mountain bike. I'm one of those people who has to use something, especially if it's expensive, or I get major buyer's remorse. So I decided I would get a mountain bike different from what I have already, but one that worked with my style of riding. I also decided I'd keep on a budget and not spend too much.

I did get a bike completely different than what I have though

My current bike is full suspension, geared and aluminum. So I decided to get a fully rigid, single speed, steel frame. A friend of mine is big in to single speeding, and he recommended a bike from a company called Vassago. He specifically recommended the Jabberwocky. I did some reading, decided I loved it, and started piecing it all out.

I went with the following parts list:

Jabberwocky and ODIS fork (Oh Damn It's Smooth)
XT hubs and Stans Arch Rims (Tubeless)
Truvativ Stylo GXP 1.1 cranks (32t)
Surly cog (19t) - equivalent to 2:1 on a 29er
Avid Juicy 5 brakes with XT rotors
Eggbeater pedals
RaceFace seatpost
Donated azonic stem, Specialized ProTI seatpost, Easton bars

Full build came out to 24.04 lbs.
