Just got back from a great lunch ride....here is how the Zen moment came to be
* About 74 degrees, just perfect outside
* Collective Souls "YOUTH" on my mp3 player
* Took it easy...no burn (have been riding hard lately and have a century on Saturday)
* Climbed the local 1,000 foot hill at a brisk (13mph) but pain free pace
* After changing saddle, post, fork and stem, The fit is finally coming close to being dialed in on the bike
* Passed an old rock climbing friend and chatted briefly (she was on a custom painted cx check)
* Hit 46 mph without even pedaling on the way down
* Back to the desk in 1:10....including shower.
The only way it could have been better is if I did not have to return to work
Anyone else have a Zen moment during a lunch ride today?
