i bought my caad9 because of the overwhelming evidence and response i got, from BF, racers (pros and ams), roadies, rec riders, casual riders, whatever else you wanna call em, based on my price range... there simply is no other bike in this price range (including carbon, pedal force ect) that is proven and praised like the caad9...period! i did one year worth of research before i confidently settled on the caad9...my final three considerations were time, colnago, and caad9. and the caad9 was obviously the only one in my range. Again the caad9 is hands down the best alu bike for the price, maybe all together and i think its a shame they are taking it overseas because i feel the quality wont be there any longer..my LBS feels the same and will not be carrying the cannondale line any longer
