I rode a Roubaix Elite a few years ago and actually didn't think it was very stable. However, I rode a Roubaix Expert this year for a week while my bike was in the shop and found it to be a much stiffer and more stable bike. I'm not sure if it's the model or the year, but it was clearly different.
