Open Reduction Internal Fixation of my right femur. I'm wasn't supposed to cycle for 4 months or some such thing. I did a metric century after about 6 weeks with some friends. I took it very easy, but it was probably stupid. Nonetheless, it healed fine and it's been 20 years with no trouble. Still got a 16" steel rod (did I just say that??) and a few screws to prove it.
