most trials guys run between 15 and 35psi, depending on the tire and the terrain. it's always very low (compared to other bikes) and the wheels are crazy strong, most are double-walled and super wide (like 43mm). the holes are to save weight.

Some of those big drops onto small/sharp corners are too much even for the super rims though. Check this video out...
