Mine is a westbound commute from Courthouse- on the Custis then the W&OD. A few times a week I add on some miles, either on the way in or home, by taking the Mt. Vernon to 4-Mile Run, then linking up with my regular route near Bluemont.

I see a ton of rabbits, an unusually high amount of cardinals, and an occasional fox. No herons or beavers in the suburbs…
