Hello, I got a world traveler for a price that was almost free so there are some parts that need some work one are the handlebars. I was going to put handlebar tape on it and strip off the busted up padding, but I was unsure if I should put the tape over the busted padding. I would like some advice, because once I take off the padding that is there I can never put it back on and have it the same that it was before. Thanks!
