There are bunch of trolls on here who've never ridden Tufos but they hate them for some reason. Be sure to ignore any replies like that.

The Elite Ride 23 is a great tire; I've used those and the Elite Ride 25 for quite a while. They ride really well, corner great, and hold in the rain. They also are pretty puncture resistant, but you'll want to carry a can of Vittoria Pitstop. You can use variable pressure depending on conditions, i.e. low pressures on rainy days and on bumpy surfaces, higher pressures when riding on really smooth pavement. There's almost zero chance of them rolling off the rim.

They're also run-flat, if you're careful, in case you get a big cut or don't have any Pitstop.
