Yeah, high tensile tubing is generally the bottom of the barrel. On the other hand the shimano 600 components are second from the top. I still think you got a good deal, I just thought that the tubing was weird. There was a Ross (can't remember which one) that had Shimano 600 on a high-ten frame too. I am just assuming that the manufacturer was trying to meet a price point.

I have a Nishiki International with a high ten frame, T-mar informed me that it had everything to do with keeping the bike at 200.00.
