Mid-fork and Bottle Cage Eyelets

I have just completed a rebuild of an old Trek 830 and someone made the comment that I should have had eyelets brazed on the fork before I had it powder coated. Well, today a friend gave me an old Giant Innova. I'm going to have it stripped and powder coated. I'm seriously considering the braze-ons for mid fork eyelets and eyelets on the underside of the down tube for a third water bottle. Problem is I have no idea where to begin.

First off, who should I go to?

If they aren't familiar with it, where exactly on the fork and downtube should I have them do it?

Is this even a good idea?

I don't think there are any framebuilders in my area (Bowling Green, KY), I'll have to check the two LBS we have here. Thanks for any advise.
