Do you remember the time maybe a year or so ago when that truck went barreling through Packard's Corner, taking out several cars over the course of about 700 feet or so? When I rode through there that morning, there was one car that was literally in several pieces, all over the street and sidewalk. I ride through Packard's Corner nearly every day, and it can be kind of a dicey intersection, so seeing that was pretty sobering. Looking at that wreck I knew there was no way anyone could survive that. It was just a terrible feeling.

Of course as it turned out it was just parked car, and no one was seriously injured. But still, it made me re-evaluate how I handle that intersection.

But then again, I don't know if you can prepare yourself for run away trucks with drivers asleep at the wheel, or whatever it was that happened to the driver of that truck.
