Wheel building

I have an old pair of wheel, still in good shape except for the rim and would like to give them a second life. The front wheel has 28 spokes and the rear 32. The rims are alexrims at400, I tried to find the same rims, but could only find the 32 holes version.

I'm quite new to wheel building, but would like to give it a try. What do you suggest I get to replace my rims ? If I change the rims model, I guest I'll have to change the spokes with it ?
