It would be expensive. Assuming you have a standard double (i.e. a 53/39 or similar) then try a compact double, which is a 50/34 gearing. This will get you very close to what you could get with a 30T triple ring, but you can still keep your double configuration and hence save cash.

The other option here is a bigger cassette - what are you riding currently?
