Installing hitch is a fairly simple process on most cars. (Caveat - these days some of the plastic bumpers can cause trouble.) As someone said here, you can buy the right hitch online fairly cheaply and have it sent to you with pretty clear instructions. Usually takes about .5 hours to put one on. (If you are going to wire it up, this can get longer, but not that much more complicated given that many, cars have a plug for the hitch coming out of the brake light wiring, but it isn't necessary for a bike rack.)

If you want to have it done for you, take it to your mechanic or body shop and ask them to do it (buy online and ask them to install, alternatively, just ask them to buy and install for you). They will, and if they are reliable enough to work on your car, will do a much better job than U-haul.

$.02 - I got a Yakima forklift roof rack that I love. Clamps right onto the existing factory rack with no need for all the nickle and dime spare parts.
