Its definately not a GT. GT, since the 80's, has used a "triple triangle" design where the rear stays connect to the toptube AND the seat tube creating a stiffer rearend. If you have a better picture (ie one that is larger than 2" x 2" ;-) put that up... its a bit hard to see any tell-tale details from this pic.
