Armor-all its about the worst thing you can put on a tire... it leads to cracking in my recollection. I don't remember why, but as a detailer we learned this in training that yes, it looks nice, but it will ultimately rot and dry out the the tire. Which is why we never put it on lot cars (soap and water on tires only) and only used it when we were delivering a sold car, or if someone came in for a paid detail. Even then we used low-shine water soluable stuff applied sparingly with a sponge.
