There's "marketing" and then there's borderline fraud. I've worked for an ethically challenged company and got out before the feds closed them down. The reason that the "hate" threads are out there is because there is some evidence that there were some shady advertising/marketing practices going on, and now BD has made their bed. If they didn't want the reputation they should've stayed a bit further outside the gray area of giving people incentives to talk up products on a public forum.
