Actually, whatever works for car tires will work for bikes. Same rubber compounds just thinner.

Let me restate that. I would not use the protectant you use for the dash and seat. It's too oily. I would go to an auto store and find out what is used on the tires themselves. Keep it off your braking surfaces and test it on a small spot before you spray it all over the tires. It might make the tires too slick.
